Listed below are three types of golf swings.

Backswing. When swinging, most beginners struggle to keep the right arm close to the body. They usually finish up with a bad swing.

Bring the club back while keeping the right arm close for a better swing. The player will shift the weight to the back of the right foot during the swing. As the weight shifts, the club will rise to a 90-degree angle.

Downswing. Moving the right knee crosswise to the left foot is the first step in a correct downswing. The arms drop as the player maintains the wrists fixed in a hinge posture throughout the swing. As the player keeps the head behind the ball, the hips and chest will rotate.

Follow-Through. Newcomers tend to halt their swing after striking the ball and alter the club’s natural movement. After hitting the ball, the right shoulder ought to be down and the arms completely extended.

The transition is complete when the right knee moves to the left and the weight shifts to the left foot’s heel. The right foot will come to a complete stop on its toes.
